Story: When I was in 5th grade, my mom gifted me a “love knot” ring. It was such a special piece that I cherished. Then , about a year later, I lost the ring while running across the playground. After all these years, I still think about that ring. Since my mother’s passing, I especially consider the true relevance of the knot, a bond.
Paloma is a talented ceramicist based in Nashville, TN. When I (Alisa) approached Paloma with the idea of making “marbled” knots, Paloma didn’t hesitate to take on the challenge. These knots have the look and feel of marble and are perfect for elevating any space or tablescape. While the knot is a nod to my mother, it further serves as a beautiful promise of commitment- whether it be to oneself, a relationship, an idea, or purpose.
